We are a law firm specialized in technology companies such as Big Techs, Fintechs, Scale-ups and Startups, operating in the areas of Corporate Law, Contract Law, Corporate Governance, M&A, Regulatory Compliance, Venture Capital, Tax Law and Intellectual Property. We serve clients across 18 Brazilian states and 11 countries.
We do not follow the traditional profile commonly seen in the legal sector. We are a disruptive, straightforward and modern law firm. In our offices located in Porto Alegre/RS, São Paulo/SP, Florianópolis/SC and at the Instituto Caldeira (Porto Alegre), the work environment is relaxed, and our project development methodology is agile.
Our team is composed of experienced attorneys who are fully familiar with the technology environment, all combined with strong technical legal expertise.
We do not simply serve the technology market, we also develop technology within the firm itself. A clear example is our investment in Tasklaw, a startup that creates a complete system for legal department management.
Fostering the growth of the innovation and technology ecosystem is one of our goals. We believe in promoting corporate legal education among ecosystem players and in supporting the main organizations and events in the sector. That is why our blog and our Startup Life portal are updated daily with news and information about everything related to the innovation and technology ecosystem. On our YouTube channel, CANAL SL, we provide explanatory videos on business and legal topics.
